Do not fear (the) darknyss
For (the) darknyss contains no evyl
Except our (own) fear(s)
((And) we fear what we do not understand/know)
(Yet we understand/know (our) fear)

We do not need (the) lyght to syy
The mynd does not need (the) lyght to think
The heart does not need (the) lyght to love
The soyl does not need (the) lyght to believe

We do not have to look into our lover's/families eyes to feel/see/know that they love us/you
We do not need to hear the words to know/feel (that) (they are)/the(ir) true/truth
For/because the flaym byrns (from) within
We feel it burn(yng) in our heart(s)
(And) (with) (in) every part/piece of our being

For (the) Khryyst is the lyght
(Of) the flaym (that) burn(yng)s within (everything/all)
(And) (it is) the powyr of (the) Khryyst (that) gives us hope
(And) when we search (through) the darknyss
(The) Khryyst (will be)/is there (to guide us)
And/for he/(the) Khryyst has/knows no(t) fear
